In October 2010 was awarded a multi-year contract to design and implement an enterprise-wide
wireless VoIP and RoIP (Radio over IP) system for a foreign military agency in the
Caucus region. The system became fully operational in December 2011 and was the
first of its kind in the country.
Since 2003, the company has provided professional services to US Army CECOM and US
Navy SPAWAR SD in support of the JUMPS (Joint Unified Multi-Capable Protection System)
capability. This support (classified and unclassified) has included project management,
system design, product evaluations and implementations of JUMPS-based surveillance
and sensor systems for maritime and land borders.
Under a multi-year contract with the US Virgin Island Government, our company designed,
implemented and supported a territory-wide high-speed wireless WAN that interconnects
35 agencies across three islands.
Under a multi-year contract with People in Computers (PIC), our engineers designed
and implement the 1st phase of an island-wide WAN for the Government of Puerto Rico.
This WAN now services over 100 different governmental agencies and 1,700 public school
facilities. We designed the entire network, built the Network Operations Center
in San Juan and helped the Government in the procurement of the entire $40M network.
NetWorks, Inc. has been involved in numerous enterprise networking projects as project
managers, technical subject matter experts, engineers and implementers. We have
worked with a variety of technologies and protocols, ranging from terrestrial fiber
to wireless to satellite for access methodology, and from metro Ethernet to ATM to
MPLS for network topology and data transport mechanisms.
